He tries first of all percussion and traditional instruments of its soil, then the harmonica and mandolin. And it is quite late that finally opted for the guitar. Initially, he makes himself a homemade guitar with planks, plywood and nylon strings. He started studying on a real guitar until age 17. Two years later he joined the modern Congolese and soul music band "Bini-Kwa" which allows him to make his first public performance. His dynamism and talent are quickly noticed. 1999 return to France , Jeff Louna provides rock blues jazz musical performances (concerts, master classes , workshops) in solo or group. Musicologist , Jeff Louna included hosting lectures in musicology at the University of Amiens. He was also invited as musicologist to 2 conferences at the University of Toulouse and 3 at the university of Pau 3 on the phenomenon of international musical miscegenation.
